rss

every time I see someone talking about rss, that gif pops into my head, "stop trying to make [rss] happen. it's not gonna happen" 🙄

so my site has no rss! nobody needs a constant stream of updates of everything i post! every update i make getting immediately pushed to a bunch of people sounds stressful!!

what I would like is if people would just y'know, check back in a few months when they think about it. I'm nostalgic for the time when we used to do that - "hey I wonder how that blog is going?"

if people forget to check back - well, they must not have liked it that much so they're not really missing anything 😂

currently I'm experimenting with limited cross-posting to Bluesky, but idk
